Job Description:

The candidate will collaborate both within the Department of Preclinical Drug Development and with multidisciplinary project teams, providing LC/MS/MS (e.g. Cohesive HTLC/Sciex API 3000) support for drug discovery and development.  The qualified candidate will have hands-on experience with sample preparation/extraction as well as with the development of quantitative LC/MS/MS methods for biological fluids/tissues.  Excellent organizational and communication skills are required, as is prior experience with high-throughput sample introduction technology platforms, specifically, on-line solid phase extraction.  This position will have a critical role in the evaluation of new drug candidates by providing analyses of drug and metabolites from toxicokinetic and clinical studies.  Prior experiences with robotic workstations and/or metabolite identification by LC/MS/MS is a plus.  Excellent computer skills and GLP experience and/or pharmacokinetics computation are advantageous.
