Bioanalytical Scientist, Northern NJ Pharmaceutical Company, 436

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Northern New Jersey pharmaceutical company seeks an outstanding bioanalytical scientist with both animal experience and strong LC/MS/MS experience for bioanalytical projects to support PK and TK studies. The successful candidate will be experienced in method development and sample analysis for the quantification of small molecules in plasma. (Also helpful – but not essential is some experience with metabolite ID.) He or she should have an understanding of protein ppt, LLE and SPE used in conjunction with the Sciex API 4000 (or similar), and/or Thermo TSQ Quantum and/or TSQ 7000 mass spectrometers. Also helpful but not essential is an understanding of the analysis of chemical compounds using a Finnigan LCQ. Experience with maintaining and troubleshooting for HPLC and mass spectrometry is a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ph.D., (BS or MS with experience), plus academic and/or pharma/biotech industry experience. Experience with animal work (IV/PO/SC studies). Candidate should have strong analytical chemistry and mass spectrometry skills and be a team player.
