Job Description
Our client is looking for a qualified candidate to
lead a mass spectrometry research group which uses mass spectrometry and other
proteomics tools to support biological research programs. This individual
will be a critical member of multi-disciplinary project teams and provide
support to biologists to identify and design methods to address their
analytical needs using mass spectrometry based technology platforms. This
individual will also be expected to use Bioinformatics and statistical tools to
interpret mass spectrometry data and expand the application of mass
spectrometry to support biological research projects.
Job Requirements
The qualified candidate will have a Ph.D
in biology or biochemistry or a related life science discipline and 6 to 10
years of academic and/or industrial research experience in mass spectrometry
based biological and proteomics research.
Previous experience leading a team of scientists and
communications skills are important.
