*Area Service Leader Description:
An Area Service Leader candidate
would supervise, mentor, and support additional resources in the area as well
as provide service support to mSPEC customers. The position requires
troubleshooting electromechanical systems, testing, adjusting and replacing
defective electronic and mechanical components, running and analyzing test
samples, reviewing instrument output (spectrums) and adjusting system
parameters to meet instrument operating specifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- AS/AA Electronics Engineering
Technology, Chemistry or related field or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years technical knowledge
in repair and maintenance of LCMS instrumentation
- 5-7 years customer service
experience
- Applied Biosystems / MDS
Sciex™ related experience desirable
- Good organizational and
troubleshooting skills
- Good verbal & written
communication skills
- Ability to build
interpersonal relationships
- Supervisory or management skills
