To support its research strategy, the Quality & Safety Department at the NRC is seeking a:


                     
Project Leader: Mass spectrometry-based developments

           

who will work within the Analytical Sciences unit, coordinating technicians involved in related projects.


Main responsibilities:

-        Lead developments of mass spectrometry-based methods (internally and externally) according to GLPs.

-        Ensure appropriate contribution of collaborators within projects.

-        Propose appropriate solutions with clients and external key contacts.

-        Provide clients with advice and support upon request.

-        Propose and set up a vision for future developments aligned with both current analytical advances and QS Department strategy.


Required profile:

-        PhD in mass spectrometry, several publications.

-        Strong experience in quantitative LC-MS and protein analysis.

-        Experience in project management in a R&D environment.

-        Experience in method validation.

-        Fluency in English.

-        Able to write documents such as instructions, reports and publications.
