Responsibilities
The Senior Scientist,
Proteomics will be responsible for the completion of protein MS studies derived
from biological samples, including projects involving advanced protein
identification and characterization studies. You will interact directly with
our clients, our entire scientific staff, bioinformatics; you will be
interpreting results and generating reports. You will be welcome to bring in
new ideas and innovations to further our science culture.
Qualifications
The Senior Scientist,
Proteomics will have a PhD. in analytical chemistry or related field, with 2+
years of experience in protein mass spectrometry, and an emphasis in the
analysis of peptides and proteins by tandem mass spectrometry. Working
expertise in HPLC, LC-MS, and LC-MS/MS, including both 1D and 2D chromatography
is required. Experience with database analysis algorithms and bioinformatics
software is required. Experience with biological sample preparation is a plus.

motivated scientist. You enjoy and are adept at innovation. You naturally
multi-task and bring high energy to your work.
You possess a strong attention to detail in the lab and practice good
laboratory techniques. You work well
independently, but can also function well as a member of a cohesive,
interdisciplinary science team in new product research and development.
